Is it true that in 2011, Californians are only allowed to buy one ammo box per month per person???
Ammo box or box of ammo? two different things. Where did you hear or read of this?
I was told my the gun shop sales about this new law coming in place in 2011 in CA.
Sorry for typo...one box of ammo.
looks like you'll be making some trips to Nevada in 2011.
Sounds like a gimmic to boost his ammo sales and drive prices up more...
If Pelosi and Boxer have there way! And with California going bankrupt like Greece, I would not be surprised they don't try to limit guns and ammo as much as they can to keep the slaves, er I mean citizens, in line.
I heard you have to import your own water starting that year too...
If any of you guys want to by a nice two story house, 3000 Square feet, 5 bedrooms, two baths for the low price of 12 million buckeros in the free state of PA, where you can buy two hundred boxes of ammo at once, PM and free yourself from dictatorship.
Sounds like the person that told you that wants to sell you a lot of ammoi
Google it. It's already signed into law and goes into effect in 2011. It's not quite that simple one box per person. What is it is if you want to buy more than 50 rounds per month from a particular store you have to provide fingerprints and sign a log book shared with the pd. It also bans Internet sales of ammo.
One box of 50 no problem. One box of 100 fingerprints.
I would think the burden on stores to keep records will make most non gun stores like sporting goods etc not carry ammo thereby decreasing supply increasing price.
How people can keep voting away thier rights amazes me.
Does anyone know how this law applies to reloading? Is there a limit on components? For example, can a person only buy 50 bullets at a time, thus limiting reloading? I would get the hell out of that state if I lived there, but I guess they do have nice weather.
Oh for goodness sakes!
Go someplace else and buy it. Screw'em let them loose tax money
I'm really wondering about reloading also, because i would like to start reloading. Most of 2010 for me will be stocking up on all types of ammo, even if i don't own the gun. Only because I want to build an AR and possibly get a .308.
Im also kind of worried that ammo will be something they will be searching you for at the boarder
It is California AB962 give me a minute I will try to get the meat and taters of it.
Here it is last I checked it did pass so anything that says would or something along those lines should say will because I don't think it has kicked in yet.
Sponsored by Assembly Member Kevin De Leon (D-45), AB962 would make it a crime to privately transfer more than 50 rounds of ammunition per month, even between family and friends, unless you are registered as a “handgun ammunition vendor” in the Department of Justice’s database. Ammunition retailers would have to be licensed and store ammunition in such a manner that it would be inaccessible to purchasers. The bill would also require purchasers submit to fingerprinting, which would be submitted to the Department of Justice. Lastly, mail order ammunition sales would be prohibited.
I'm in the process of building "AZ Husker's Ammo and Beer" just east of Blythe on the Arizona side.
