Granted that the generic guns are hard to find because the masses bought them all up at exaggerated markups.

good thing that I didn’t buy generic guns, though I managed to buy a NIB CZ P01 for low $500 and a Ruger 22/45 MKIV bull barrel for low $300. Those are pretty mundane guns.

It’s all about who you know and how much moolah you spent with their shops throughout the year.

Probably because you’re in-American. Tabasco sauce and Ivanka Trump are part of the American tableau.

Same here, though I live in the country. It will stay peaceful because "we" out number "them." Our necks are a little on the red side. I figure there is a gun in every truck. Its the way it has always been in my great state.

Yeah, totally un-American to vote for someone based on their views rather than appearance. Go ahead. I'll vote for the ugly conservative over the hot liberal. And even if Tabasco sauce was conservative, I doubt it would make a great president.

You just got to work with the current market
Luckily because of a sale a year ago I picked up a full size and subcompact GAP 45 when sportsman's guide had them both for about 250.00 bucks a piece Leo trade-ins.
As of today you could still go to Target sports and find in stock ammo for under $20 a box.
So I'm just shooting 45gap till hopefully the price of 9 mm comes back down same deal with rifles they're trying to get $20 a box for 556
You can still go to Walmart and get 308 for around 15 a box at least around where I'm at.
I'm just hoping Biden doesn't get elected
And my next cost effective option if 9 mm still stays at $40 a box
There are still some places that have 50 BMG
In stock for around $35 for a box of 10.

You’ll love shooting one. I picked one up about a month ago. Shot nice with the OEM adjustable sights, but really nice with a Dawson fiber optic front added.

I haven't seen a 6920 forever. You would think Colt could dig themselves out of bankruptcy during the current demand.

I’d bet Trump wins another 4 years.
I think after the first of the new year, Ammo availability will increase some but, not to what it was prior to Covid19.
Ammo prices also will stay inflated but not as high as we see them now.
Rioting will probably slow in the northern blue state cities due to winter weather conditions, but possibly be sporadic in the warmer southern state cities including some Red states with large popular Blue cities....ie: Austin Texas, Naw’Lenz’ Wezzy’anna , ‘lanta Georgia,....cities that have weak politicians.
Speaking of weak politicians...., many will “Now” start voicing their opinions “against” the rioting and chaos because their “job is on the line” as in being voted out.
So this too might curtail the protesting and rioting.

If Biden/Harris win, it's going to be a free-for-all. Harris has stated she will use a executive order (I know, unconstitutional) for gun control if congress doesn't do anything. That was when she was running for president. It won't take but a couple of months for her to be president if Biden wins.

Colt released the 6920 again. They’ve been showing up at Colt stocking dealers for two months now.

not cheap but hey, if you want the Prancing Pony, you gotta pony up the cash.

I find it laughable that all of the Colt haters whines about how Colt screwed the Second Amendment by not making the ARs available to American civilians but when the introduction was made known and gun shop photos/price tags are posted...they also whined about how expensive these Colts are and now it’s not price competitive.

I just wish that they’d be honest and say that they hate Colts.

I do not believe ammo prices will go down significantly, as the riots & panic buying will continue regardless of who wins in November

The folks hoarding don't even shoot a box of 50 a month.

And why didn't they hoard last year when ammo and guns were at a record low?

After the panic, I will do what I was doing before the panic. Use discretionary funds to buy ammo at good prices. Keep building the stash and enjoying the range.

Might be an early glut as the last few months I stashed cash not ammo.
