There seems to be two kinds of people when it comes to range bags and EDC bags.

1. The person who wants something really discreet
2. The person who wants the "tacticool" bag. You know, with the MOLLE, Velcro for patches, and that Coyote tan or OD Green color.

Living in Chicago, I'm here to tell you that there is a new development in the current trend of backpacks. The days of the "gun bag" or "tactical bag" are here for everyone to enjoy. Because guess what? Everybody is carrying bags that have a tactical look now. The only person who really knows that you are carrying a gun is YOU. From hipsters, to dads with a new born, to your traditional office worker, tactical bags are "in" now. Feel free to walk about with your range bag on your back.

Of course this is irrelevant for those who live in rural areas. You can pretty much do what you want. But for those of us who live in cities and suburbs that carry guns, this is actually pretty cool. No more awkward elevator ride with your range bag, or walking to your car in a parking lot trying not to get spotted. It really doesn't matter.

So when deciding on what range backpack to get, find one with a storage system that works for you. Get whatever color and look you want, it really doesn't matter.
