Well after about four months of trying to decide on a carry pistol I narrowed it down to a glock or a xd. Then I decided on a Glock 27 even though there were some great things I liked about the xd. I hoPe I have chosen correctly. I just need to find a nice holster now.
Good choice. I purchased my 1st Glock G22 Gen 4 on Feb 1st. I will be purchasing a G27 very soon. Jason
Good choice but if you shoot regularly with your friends at the range from 15-25 yds you are going to wish you had a 17 or 22. Well there you go. Your next gun is a glock 22!!
Welcome to GT and congrats on your new G27!! You made a great choice and will not regret choosing it over the XD! The G27 was my first and you'll love it's accuracy and versatility!!
The Glock 27 is my choice for the subcompact Glock also. It doesn't have the bulk of a 10mm or .45 ACP subcompact, and the .40 S&W is a great cartridge for carry.
Well you have according to the Glock owners, now go post that on a XD board and see what kinda responses you get.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Quick question can you change the barrel to a 9mm? I was wondering cause might use that barrel at range cause that ammo is cheaper.
James, I bet you will like your G27,,,the first time I shot my B-I-L's G27 at the range...I did better(groups) with it(G27) then my G22, that I have owned for over 2 years,,,,,
Congrats on the Glock. The Springfield XDs just look weird to me (like the slide is too top heavy for the frame or something).
No it's not a homeland defender, just a regular 27. I cant find another thread I posted on, so I will ask it here, I was looking at a crossbreed super tuck holster for this gun and was wondering what the combat cut was, do I need it, any comfort difference in the regular one? For those who have this holster how comfortable is it? Which one should I get for a 27?
