Why do the older gb mini14's pull down so much money. I'm talking like the 181 series, or has that went away with ruger now making tactical versions. Since their preban are they worth the money more towards california gun owners. I often see people trying to get 7-800 dollars for them.

$700-800 for a GB Mini IS a great price, it it's condition warrants.
The GB folders will go for $1000-1200

They were only available to the public used. I've got a sweet one I bought in So-Cal from B&B back in 82.

But why do they bring so much, and what are they currently going for (nonfolder).

One with minimal wear, shoulf be selling in the $650-800
I kinda got away from the Mini. Take a gander over on
PerfectUnion.com,......tons of good info there. Many good
    people as well.

As crazy as it seems, the stainless factory folders will
go up in price very soon,.....the A-Team is back.

They were only sold NIB to law enforcement agencies and many are still in use.

folks want them, there are not very many of them and they are willing to pay

Thanks for the information. I sort of figured once ruger started making tactical versions with a flash suppressor the value of these would come down. I didn't figure the rarity value.
