Laughter is the best medicine if your just having a bad day for whatever reason, and just maybe ya have a slight case of the blues. Now there are a zillion great movie comedies but I could only list 10. So a movie must be slapstick, a classic, and very unpolitically correct. Please choose one of the 10 movies and please comment on the choices given and the one you took. Thanks.

Tough call for me. Airplane, Naked Gun, and Austin Powers are probably my top 3. Austin Powers isn't all that old school though, but since I watched SNL in Mike Myers' heyday, I always found him funny as hell.

It was tough to decide but The Great Race and 1941 tied for second behind It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World. While I haven't seen any of them in ages, it is the one that takes me back to my pre-teen days when watching all of those great performers that I grew up watching. My real "medicine" however is probably the mob comedy Wise Guys starring Danny DeVito and Joe Piscopo.

" Bigger, Longer, & Uncut " also gave me a chuckle; definitely UN-PC.

Sorry, my opening post explains that only 10 can be in the poll out of a zillion comedies.

Actually "Caddy Shack" was supposed to be on the poll, but that's what I get for making a poll at 2 in the morning. Only 10 spots available in any GT Poll.

From the list I had to go with Blazing Saddles. There are a lot of good ones, but BS completely busts all things politically correct.

In their time, I really liked the Police Academy films, but I don't know how well those have held up.
