So I still have a bunch of 8 mm Turkish corrosively primed ammo that I’ve been shooting. It’s Berdan primed so it basically goes in my scrap brass bucket that I turn in for salvage money every once in a while.

So I am working in the yard setting up some drip lines for plants we just put in, I needed to join two pieces of cut hose which I would normally just use some copper tubing but I didn’t have anything on hand and I did not feel like running down to Lowe’s. Then I had an idea and got out my tubing cutter.
It worked great! Maybe I should write a book 1001 uses for old 8 mm brass lol
