My wife really likes the 9mm Baby Eagle (sub-compact). It fits her well, plus it is all steel so the weight helps her with any recoil which makes her pretty dang accurate. It is small enough she can put it in the diaper bag when she is out and about, but big enough to shoot comfortably. Has probably 2,000+ rounds through it without a single hiccup. She doesn't like Glock- too fat for her hand, she doesn't like the XD, does like the CZ-75, but too big to carry. For referance she is about 5'8 and weighs about 130-140lbs.

My first Glock was a 26...with Scherer extensions...after a few months...I got rather bored with it...moved up to a 36 slimline (.45)...both models work well (for me) for concealed carry.

The SIG P239 in 9mm is a fine choice, as is the P225, since they're slimmer than the P226/228 frames.
