How come when you combine the words "cop" and "watch" they get blocked out with *'s?

I'd tried posting a link that had that word in part of the address and the *'s showed up. You have me wondering!

    Wouldja lookit that. Verrrry strange.

Unless the Admins were trying to specifically block links to the site in question, and figured this would be one way to do it (as this word combo is not usually used in speaking/writing), I can't explain it. Maybe someone else can?

Word filters can be tricky. Recently, a popular political blog (name escapes me) had a problem with spammers, so he added a bunch of common internet sales-pitch terms to his word filter. He immediately he got a rash of complaints about comments (strictly political in nature) that had been blocked. He finally figured out that Cialis (drug name) is contained in the word "socialist", and every political post with that word in it had been blocked by the filter. :)
