Bow and arrow toter enters house, demands money, homeowner uses ruse to get guy outside and grabs gun from truck, bad guy get plugged in stomach and ceases to be a danger.

Anyone know if the FHP auxillaries use the G37?

We have reserve troopers here. Uniforms are slightly different (button, badge, and name tag color) and they don't have arrest powers unless working at the direction of a full time officer.
They provide their own guns and must attend training (mini academy type) and annual recertification.
I know two members on here that are (1 has moved to a full time agency) Reserves with us.

They do. This makes the second shooting with the G37 and the 200 grain Speer Gold Dot for FHP, and the second instant cessation of hostilities.

Unarmed and with no powers, different uniform (navy blue w/ 8 point instead of gray with stetson). Very wierd. Why you would want to do it is beyond me.

Nussbaumer confronted the man that police have identified as 24-year-old Sean Harris. Police said Harris was armed with a bow and arrow and demanding money. Nussbaumer told the suspect money was in her truck. As the suspect followed Nussbaumer outside, police say he removed his clothes.

Arizona also has reserve troopers. From looking at their website, it appears that a reserve trooper could even be issued a car in AZ.
