Then why and **ll is gas around here at $3.89 or higher here? Gas prices have never made sense to me. More factors are involved in it's pricing then just about anything else.

That's the price that energy speculators/traders have figured out that you'll pay without depressing consumption too much.

    You crack me up Flintlocker.

“The market just believes that there is too much supply and when it doesn’t have the economic activity to back it up, generally the price must go down,”

Gov't leases have been cut in half.

    Fail thread. Fail president.

it should read "Despite President Obama's best efforts, the private sector increased crude oil production in the US"

Not that you'll respond Flintlocker, but while we're on the subject of energy, how do answer for the tremendous failure of Obama's green energy initiative(i.e. countless green energy companies going bankrupt despite federal help)?

Flint, the voters see the price at the pump, and remember what it was in January 2009.

Barry's a loser on this one no matter how you try to spin it.

Because you have to have refineries to turn crude oil into gasoline. We haven't built one since the 70's so they are always breaking down. Plus, the Feds require them to make about 15 different blends for various EPA requirements. Build new refineries and design a single blend nationwide and gas prices will be cut in half.

At least the DUers like Flintlicker, demonstrate exactly what it is you have to believe, to keep supporting Obama, with a four year record of fail.

There, fixed it for you Doc!:wavey:

It's hard to believe that you're foolish enough to not realize that Big Oil dropped the price of gas right before the election.

Sept '08 gas was $3.86/gal in my area and on Election Day it was $1.84/gal.

In Sept '08 gas was even higher in your area.

In Jan '01 I bought gas for $.96/gal right down the road from your house. Bought it again in Sept '08 for almost $4.00/gal.

I know it's against the GTPI sections rules to post a fact or the truth but I did it anyway.
