i bought my f-i-l a gift card here last year for his bday. he said the meat was excellent. i thought their products were WAY overpriced so i never thought i'd buy something there myself. a month ago a got a deal emailed to me.. a deal we couldn't pass up so we bought it (we got a whole lot of meat for $50) and we were very impressed! i shared the offer with 6 of my co workers and everyone was impressed as well.

i got this deal the other day and thought i'd share. for $60 you get:

    2 (5 oz.) Filet Mignons
    4 (5 oz.) Top Sirloins
4 (4 oz.) Boneless Pork Chops
4 (4 oz.) Boneless Chicken Breasts
2 (4.5 oz.) Stuffed Sole with Scallops and Crab
    8 (3 oz.) Gourmet Franks
4 (4 oz.) Omaha Steaks Burgers
    10 portions Potatoes au Gratin

PLUS you get free shipping! the offer expires today. if you've never ordered anything from ohmaha steaks, i'd highly recommend it!

    enjoy!
    :)

Hey that's not bad? Great steaks but personally their cuts are way to small for my taste. The local meat-wholesalers around here offers better size cuts. A 8-10oz typical omaha steak is what I used to eat as a infant ;)

yes, i agree the cuts are small. i laughed when we got them the first time because they were so dinky. but i'm trying to lose weight (and so is my husband but he just doesn't know it ;f ) so the portions fit in with our weight loss "plan." plus, we have some type of potato/side dish and a big salad when we have them so we don't starve.

    :)

Omaha Steaks does have some good meat and their seafood surprised me. As already stated my only problem with them was the size of their cuts. Of course when they have specials like that you just throw a bunch of steaks on the grill at once and have at it.

    Omaha Steaks are way overpriced.

There are much better products available here in Nebraska, but Omaha Steaks has a great name and one heck of a mail order business.

We were given Omaha steaks a year or so ago. I thought they were near-junk. The meat did not have a good flavor, the cuts were small and not well-marbled. I prefer the beef at Costco, or from a local grocery store with a real butcher shop.
