I've only been at the range for the past 6 months or so. I had been renting guns at the range and kept gravitating back to the Glock 19. I placed my order at the shop for my own G19 the last day of 2009. I got the gun on 1/8/2010 and was hit with a virus like I had never seen before. So I've held my 19 almost every night, whispering sweet nothings, saying we would soon be together at the range. I watched every Youtube video I could on assembly/disassembly and checked out my 19 per the company instructions. Finally today, I was able to go to the range. I explained to the guy behind the desk that I bought the 19 there, and was hoping they could check out my reassembly before I loaded it. They took a look and said I had done it correctly. So I got to spend an afternoon at the range with my new baby. I put 200 rounds through without issue and fun was had by all. I'm so looking forward to a full day class next Saturday at the local police range that teaches care and maintenance as well as proper shooting technique. The best weekend of the year so far, next weekend should be a ball!! :embarassed: joe
Smart decision to go with the g19. It is,in my opinion, one of the best all around handguns ever! More importantly, glad your feeling better! Take care!
There is no perfect handgun - but the G19 comes pretty damn close. East to conceal, shoot accurately and dissassemble. Reliable as the day is long. Just s good, solid pistol!
