Good shoo fly pie is a benefit of living a mere 30 minutes down Route 41 from Lancaster, PA. :)

shoo-fly pie has a dry bottom and a crumbly top, but what's in the middle is all gooey. Dentist approved! ;e

There is a little Amish farm in Topton that has a stand. The family name escapes me right now. But, she makes one of the best Shoo Fly Pies I have ever had. Along with her homemade breads and corn pie.

When you are on US Route 222, you will get to an intersection where there is a Burger King and an Arbys. If you are heading west on 222 you would turn left, heading east, turn right. You will then be traveling towards Main St. Topton. On the right hand side it will either be the first or second stand. They also sell fresh cut flowers that they grow on the farm. The name is still escaping me, hold...... it's Burkholders. Burkholders is the family name.

Probably Yoder or Miller. There aren't too many surnames to work with there. ;)
