I checked out the official GSSF website, but I couldn't find a rule book. Is there such a thing? I'm particularly interested in the shooting categories. I'm buying a G17 that has a 3.5 lb trigger...would that put me into "Unlimited" category? Doesn't sound very practical if it means I'd be shooting against guys with red dot sights, etc.

Anyway, if someone can point me in the right direction to get the rule book, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks!

    Jim

Go to www.gssfonline.com, click on "Glock Report" then Glock Report Archives and the click on Glock Report 2004 Vol. # 1 and you will find all the rules for the current season. By the way the 3.5 # trigger is legal in all categories so long as it is all "Official Glock Parts".

Download the Vol. 1 issue for 2004 of "The Glock Report" on the GSSF website, it has all the rules.

A factory Glock 3.5# connector does not put you in the Master class.

I found the rules in the archives...thanks.

The Glock 17 I'm getting also has a stainless steel guide rod and Trijicon night sights...am I in trouble yet?

If you tell me yes, then I'll probably be forced to go out and buy another "stock" Glock....so be careful with your answer! (I haven't finished sucking up to my wife for this one, yet!!)

Get rid of the stainless steel guide rod, put in a stock one and your fine.

    Trijicons are fine for GSSF

Since Glock does not make a Stainless Steel guide rod, the stainless steel guide rod cannot be considered stock. Just replace it with a factory guide rod and you are good to go.
