Nice collection. Free bump. I am looking for one of each now. I can buy the cutaways from my distributor but the trainers elude me.

They are rather hard to get a hold of. Even as a LEO, it took a while to get them from GLOCK themselves. Some folks only want to sell them to a LEA, while others will sell them to a LEO.

I figured that after all my years here, I should do something constructive, lol.

I think this would be a good sticky for the valuable info forum.

    I want to 2nd this.
Thanks for the great work. I didn't know of the R models.

It's interesting that Glock against their traditional policy of selling anything what legally can be sold to individuals is not followed with these models. To make just a small number of these can't be cost effective.
It would be a good training tool as well for civilians and therefore one more good tool to sell Glock vs. M&P or XD!

Yeah, the R model was my last addition. I'd say arguably the hardest one to get - not that it is "rare" in the sense of the word, but that few LE agencies buy them and even fewer ever sell them when they do buy them.

The T models are probably the most seen and know, I'd say followed by the cutaways, Ps and then Rs.

    Training gun ammo..... :)

The G22P Has dummy rounds with it, the black nosed rounds with the G17T are 'practice' rounds (yes they make holes, they are NOT for shooting at each other), and the other are paint rounds.

Butch, how long did they make the red floor plates for the P and R models?

I never knew they existed until GLOCK pictured them in the latest Armorer's Manual.

They don't list them for sale on the armorer's order form. My G17R is brand new and came with black, as did my G22P.

I can't seem to find one anywhere, even pics - other than yours.

I'd like to have two - one for each of my guns.

op, would be sweet to put a regular top end on the red and blue frames . especially at the range or one of your cop functions... lol. it would be the white elephant in the room...

Fraid I have no idea......a fellow GlockTalker had this one, and we made a trade. :) I'd never seen one either.

Great post GSD17. Do you know if the trainers only came in a gen3.5 frame?
