Offered a ride while out jogging this morning

I didn't notice.

Well dang, I was happy to see another female member.

This seems to be old thread day, because somebody resurrected my old stripper pole thread.

 

The original post is old enough to be out driving around and hitting on joggers.

 

A little story from my wife walking in the morning years ago. She walked a few miles every morning and would tell me about some guy that would see her most days and would sort of drive at her and scare her. So this went on for a short time and I got worried for her since I couldn't be there due to working. So I suggested carrying a rock in her hand and next time he does it let it (rock) go. So sure enough he does it again and she puts it right into his windshield. So she runs into him at the post office one day and he says he'll never do it again. Problem solved.

 

Leg humping on a supposed female that they will never meet is how a lot of guys get their daily dose of cardio.

 

Turns out the OP was a dude.

 

If some dude offers me a ride, I gonna take it....jogging is hard work..

A woman should always listen to her gut instinct, but I will say this..
In college, I once picked up a pretty young lady from my car...
I had a nice red 1970 VW Squareback, and if you hit the horn right, it would kind of bark cutely.
Gave her a couple "barks", and asked her if she wanted a ride...
Ended up partying with her, and taking her to my place.
Nice girl, we got together a few times after that.

 

There was one a bit older, by months, but that one didn't have a reply from Exxotic One in it. She was the first female I remember to command the high number of views and replies that women's posts have received here. As I recall, she was a nurse, model, ex-wife, and a pretty wealthy gal who lived in Miami but moved to Houston.

 

Is every female board member a model?

 

Odd..if you go to the very last page of threads. Circa 2002...90% of them are about women. Either threads directed towards women on the forum or articles referencing women with guns or women holsters. Was the leg humping rampant back then?

Edit: I'm guessing it was a portion of a womens sub forum merged with this one. Because the next dozen pages are aviation related.

 

Ok, now I understand why some thought I was ExxoticOne.

Believe it or not, there are thousands and thousands of models. 99% of us are not famous "supermodels", just professionals earning a living.

About 10 years ago 6:30 a.m. I am at the bus stop by my place headed to work downtown, as usual. Younger guy, early 2Os I hadn't seen there before comes out of the adjacent office building and stands by me on the sidewalk. He is neat, in street clothes. But he came out of a small office building where no one shows up until 8:00. We say good morning and the next 3 or 4 minutes are uneventful. But I'm already thinking this is weird. There are a few regulars. Usually after 7:00. I'm usually the only one there at 6:30. Never seen this guy before here. Or, around the neighborhood.

Then a car pulls up with 2 guys in it and I switch my briefcase to my left hand. One guy asks me if I need a ride. I say no, I'm waiting for the bus. He asks again, says we'll take you wherever you want to go. I'm like no really, I'm cool. And thinking, WTF? You really think some dude is just going to get in the car with you? You're not hitting on me, I'm a 45 year old grumpy guy with gray hair. If this is a mugging, you're going about it all wrong. I'd stepped back a couple steps from the street when the car was pulling up so the first guy is still close to me, at about my 10:00. He looks at the passenger. The passenger looks at him.

Yeah, right.

You really don't want to start to get out of that car now...

So I tell them again, I'm good and the bus will be here in 5 minutes, but thanks for the offer. Guy rolls up his window and they slowly drive off.

First guy kinda smiles and said that was strange. I give him a dirty look. The bus comes a couple minutes later. He doesn't get on.

 

Exotic was never proven to be a dude. It was just the same old GT dumbasses that ran her off. She said she was a nurse working at a hospital in Tampa and rode a motorcycle to work. Some of the GT hillbillies just can't fathom woman out in the world doing their own thing. We once had a guy post 'why would a woman own a gun and be on a gun forum?'. Its hard to believe dudes are still out there in the world thinking like this.


No offense to the well rounded hillbillies out there that are aware its a bigger world outside the trailer park.

No offense to people who live in trailer parks.
