Teammate Young and I are leaving about 0830 hours tomorrow. Wife Vickie cannot make this trip because she hurt her left knee real bad on Monday morning, and that was her good knee. She has an appointment with her orthopedic surgeon on Monday.

Plan is to visit Glock Friday morning to take care of a little business, visit Ed's Public Safety after lunch, BBQ dinner (and aiming fluid) Friday night and then shoot on Saturday. Safe travel and good shooting wishes to all!:wavey:

It's just under 460 miles from my home to the motel. About 7.5 hours driving time. We swing down around Athens to avoid the Atlanta traffic.

we are staying at the Country Inn and Suites in Conyers. I got a deal on Expedia for $68.00 a night, including Free Breakfest, that's 4 of us, my wife, and 2 children....and of course that includes WIFI.....I don't go anywhere without that.

Cindy says 700+ preregistered. Bama might be right and we break 1000 shooters.

I'm thinking this might be my last trip mostly because it takes me two nites in a motel and I'm going to really look at where I shoot and what I spend. Right now I'm doing 15 or so major matches a year and between entry fees, fuel, food, motels, ammo, and everything else my shooting budget is larger than any other expense I have.

Ed I really hate to hear that, I figured Conyers would be the one match you would go to for sure. I thought you would at least be there next year to give me my "I'm not mikeg35 shirt" that I asked you and bama for:rofl:. Anyway, good luck in Conyers!!!:wavey:

Conyer is on my "list", if i do go i think i'll not work the match next year. I've been working the last few years because 3-4 years ago they got jammed up with no ROs so I been working but as it stands it looks like they've had pleanty the last few years. Bad thing with Conyers is it's just a few weeks after the GA. State match so I'm making the same trip 2 weeks apart.
