So I'm talking to this very attractive sales rep (met her before in person) on the phone today, and asks if I had a good New Year. I said that I had, and then asked about hers. She tells me that her's was terrible just terrible, and proceeds with a lot of intimate details about how she's supposed to have surgery on her ovaries and uterus. She kind of went into graphic detail about cysts and such. :wow: I just played it cool and hoped that she got well soon. Is this more comman than one might think, and why would she be discussing this with me? :whistling:

    Best Wishes! Pecos Bill out.

I've noticed a lot of women are open about stuff like that. Probably nervous and it's constantly on her mind.

    Are you nuts?

Don't date a girl you work with. I just wish there was a 10 or 11 page thread about this

Sorry, but when a near stranger starts gushing about personal things like that, I've found they are pretty much batty after getting to know them.

I find that strange for normal chat chat type conversation. She may be just very stressed/nervous, and talkative.

She's a sales rep for a company that we buy stuff from.

Well it sounds like they're taking out the factory but leaving the playground. You should go for it.

She may not have someone close she could confide in. I know, it's weird, but some people have to get some encouragement from someone even if they are not that close.

At work I learned that if I kept my mouth shut about any personal problems or confidential information from my co-workers/managers, they were more apt to talk "to" me rather then keep it inside. It was their chance to vent. I learned considerable about the company intricacies this way.

One secretary scared the he:: out of me one morning when she asked to see me in one of the labs and then when I entered she fell into my arms crying that her husband was leaving her. I am ashamed to say that I grabbed her neckline and held her at arms length. I felt bad afterwards but I have to limit this somewhere.

    Or:
You may have just been the next person she talked to after getting the news.

Google "intellectual who_ _" (The second word being a crude one for "prostitute").

You weren't calling an insurance company, were you? That sounds like a woman that sits behind me. I cannot BELIEVE some of the stuff she says to customers...
