I'm torn between od and the black. I'm holding off on my g27 until I figure it out. It will be my carry.my dealer can get in od or black for $480,with night sites for $500. Great deals just can't decide.what do you think?

I had an OD 27. My friend was deploying, and wanted it bad, so I took care of him. The black 27 that replaced it is nowhere near as cool. I want another OD.

For conceal carry black. For just a hiking, range, glovebox gun than either.

Everyone has a black gun, run with the OD. You can always get a Black gun later, even another manuf, if you prefer.

Conceal carry with the OD is no different than with the black. and in the dark they are hard to tell apart.

And black, IMHO, shouts gun far more than OD.

Also, OD's aren't near as common as black.

I'd pick the OD... Much more accurate and will outlast the black polymer.:whistling:

I have been thinking about having more kryptonite added to the OD lower so that Superman can't even mug me without risk.

This is obviously personal preference so it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. The only negative I can think of is that it might be harder to sell. BTW, only a $20 difference for factory NS? That's usually a $50 spread so that's a much better deal than without.

To the contrary... I have found (personal experience) that the OD's are a bit easier to sell here lately.

Go black. Imo, that od green makes it look like some stupid airsoft toy.

OD are a lot harder to come by, so they should have a bit more resale value. They look too much like a toy to me, so I have always been a black Glock guy.

+1. OD all the freaking way!! I love Glocks, and I love the color black, but I've been getting bored with black Glocks lately. The OD is a nice touch, but for my taste, I'd buy the black gun and get it professionally DuraCoated in Desert Beige. Now we're talking, baby.

If you don't want to do that, go with OD man, all the way.
