When anti-segregation protesters occupied discriminatory restaurants, that was pointless and ineffective? When workers occupied automobile factories and gained recognition of their unions, that was pointless and ineffective? When suffragettes occupied the streets in the years immediately before the passage of the 19th Amendment, that was pointless and ineffective?

Or maybe it's just generalizations about any political tactic that are pointless and ineffective.

Good lord... It's a form of protest. If they break the law, arrest them. If they refuse to leave when lawfully ordered to do so, pepper spray them into oblivion.

    Otherwise, ignore them.

    It's free speech.

Unless they speak you don't know just what clueless idiots they are.

The minute they break the law they should be arrested and IMO any taxpayer paid "government assistance" they are receiving, including food stamps, should be stopped and never started again.

Occupy? Cool. More power to them. They are the legitimate heirs of that little tea party in Boston that was so significant in the movement of the colonies to break ties with england. So, more power to the folks in Occupy.

In retrospect, nothing good came from any of those things. All contributed to the society we find ourselves in now.

Yeah dog, the big difference between the "occupy" protesters and the protesters you mentioned, is that the "occupy" protesters don't really have a cause to protest.

However, trying to explain this to you may be pointless and ineffective.

I love the fact that the news media tries to hide the Chinese and Soviet Russian flags that they march with. The Media wants you to think they are disgruntled youth and not Communist.

In Philly they rallied yesterday in front of Wells Fargo's regional HQ building. The local news crew had a hard time trying to keep the Soviet flag out of the shot because the cops and protestors where fighting right next to it. When they showed the same scene on the national news, the flag was cropped out for some reason :whistling:

 I try not to work, when I'm at my job. How's that saying go? Do the least amount of work, for the most amount of money.

If a private organization agrees on a fee I charge for the amount of work I give, it's a good deal to me, and I guess to them since they agreed on it.:rofl:
