I live in PA, I was woundering if you can OC at a carnival? JW cause it is carni season lol
Being an American. My greatest blessing.
General Glocking probably isn't the best place to ask this question but a simple Google search found this: http://paopencarry.org/pa-open-carry-information
Why? CCW, no one knows you're carrying if you're smart about it. No hassels or worries of getting tased or shot, simple.
Yet another OC vs. CC thread. I'm sure this is going to end well.
Only clowns can OC at carnivals.
This should be good.
Not really, If you have to ask the answer is yes, yes you should. Tell us when so we can watch the news.
I open carried at carnivals in Virginia right past 3 cops looking right at me they never said a word
Always carry never tell.

If you feel like it go for it. We need more Americans standing up for their rights, not just a bunch of apathetic cowards. THIS IS AMERICA FOLKS! We should never discriminate against Those who wish to exercise their rights. I know many people will never agree with open carry, and I'm not quite brave enough to do it on a frequent basis myself, but it is our absolute, undisputable right to carry and bear arms openly or concealed. To the naysayers-have some respect for our constitution. It doesn't say anything about the right to bear arms in only a hidden manner! I fully understand the perceived disadvantages of open carry, but I will always support it.
Ahh, not this crap again! There have been several really contentious internet gun forum squabbles over open carry at both the Allentown and West End Fairs. My personal suggestion? Don't just be a good citizen; be a good neighbor, too, and keep your EDC out of sight until you actually need it.
Just so you know: Some very unsavory people attend these fairs. If there's two things I would never do on the fairgrounds they are (1) flash a wad of money while I'm paying for something; or (2) let the general public know that I'm carrying a gat. Either behavior is sure to get you into trouble. (But, perhaps, that's what you really want?)
I live in PA, too. I'd really appreciate it if you'd keep your pistol covered around me and my family. Fair time is NOT when I want to be reminded of why I carry a gun, or what a stinking rotten lousy place Planet Earth can sometimes be.
(You do realize that if you OC at the Bloomsburg Fair, undercover security is going to be all over you - Right!)
Wasn't the OP the guy who posted the thread about whether anybody else as young as him OC's? You know:
Maybe he qualifies to OC at the carnival.
I have a constitutional right to stand on a street corner and shout racial slurs at minorities.
That doesn't mean it is something I should do, or helps advance or "stand up" for any rights - it would just be me acting like an idiot to show that I can.
The law isn't the maximum standard of civilized conduct, it is the minimum. Many here don't see to understand that.
Good post! The text in bold is worthy of being a signature line!
(In fact, with permission, I'd use it for mine; but I've met so many dumbass cretins on-line, lately, that I don't believe now's a good time for me to be switching sig. lines.)
Ohh wow - same guy? That was an entertaining thread.
I dont understand why anyone who can carry concealed, doesnt. To me thats like saying "Look at me! If some s*** goes down shoot me first!" Imho its nobodys business what I may, or may not be carrying.
