I was thinking about taking my 2 over to see Santa Paws over at any Petsmart this month. It's on a Saturday that he is there, and I am sleeping. The money goes to homeless pets charities.

Am I putting up a Christmas tree this year???????

    AB-SO-FREEAKIN-LOOT-LEE NOT!!!!!

With the way my 2 wrestle and run around like wild banshees, they would have a tree down in 2 minutes, no make that 1 minute FLAT!!! ;g

Anyone else with cats put up a tree???

I know Ponti's putting his up on the porch!!! ;z

Maybe NEXT year I will try it.....not this year.......

The Kaztenjammer Kids spend the entire evening with their noses pressed against the balcony door glass while I trimmed the tree out on the balcony.

They wanted in that tree...BAD! :)

I am not putting a tree up so they can work on their climbing skills.

Your cats are more mature then Blasto's, Ponti's and mine.......I don't think my bog cat Max would teake a tree down but the kitten Milo would have it down in 20 seconds flat I think.......

I actually think that Blasto's 2 would be ok...they are both adults.....where Ponti and I have rambunctious kittens.......;g

I put one up the first year I had my cat (her name is Moe) and she didn't bother it at all. Haven't put one up since. She still acts crazy and tears around like a wild thing, but she's not too into demolition and destruction, thank goodness.

Missy is older. She is about 8. Fred just turned 2. He is as rambunctios as they come...but he would rather devote his devious nature to bugging Missy and since she don't mess with the tree, he won't.

Where we put the tree is over in a corner of the living room by a heat vent. I shut the vent off but some warm air still comes out. Must get all toasty warm in there because Missy loves to sleep under the tree. Of course that is her usually sleeping vent but the tree just lets her hide.

no tree here either...my pup is way to inquisitive and tempted to 'stand' on 'stationary' objects...

not to mention the lil beeatch would pull everything i put on that tree off....lol

The kittens were allowed in the living room right after they all got a bath and the little devils promptly cleared the lower branches on of the tree. One of them bit the light cord and I don't think she'll do that twice.;z

Muffin is my wife's 12 yo Calico(and fat too.)She likes climbing over the gifts to sleep between the tree and the wall. She's declawed but her back claws have shredded some of the wrappings,so they'll have to be rewrapped. Bullet, the 16 yo psychotic Himalayan just likes to sit and stare at the tree lights. I think they're both too old to be interested in playing with the decorations now.
It's a different adventure with these two every Christmas.
