What an interesting way to honor those who lost their lives....

I'm of mixed emotions on this. I like the idea.... just that its a fine line between a tribute and making a buck off of 9/11. I'd feel much better if they donate any proceeds from sales of those special editions to benevolent associations.

Am I just too cynical in my old age? I mean, how else would a custom guitar shop honor those guys, right?

Why the hatin on Fender, man? :dunno:

Quoted for the truth, brother! :tongueout:

"After going on brief display at a Fender event in California in mid-September, Eric Clapton will play the guitars during fall dates on his 2011 world tour, after which they will be donated to Sept 11, 2001, first-responder organizations."

Sounds pretty benevolent to me. :wavey:
