Looks like we are preparing for another ice storm that "they" say will rival last years. Power outages, falling trees, and idiot drivers who "have to get to walmart".
You guys and girls be careful out there tonight and tomorrow. You have people praying for your safety.

I was glad to get home from Springdale yesterday. It's been a long week.
I was in Home Depot in Fayetteville on Tuesday night. There was a news crew there interviewing a store rep. He said they started the day with 18 generators and a few pallets of ice melt. He had 1 generator left at 8PM.

There is a line of folks with tickets in hand waiting for a truck of generators to get to SAMs.
I live close to town and I'm well prepared, but some of these folks last year went three weeks without electricity. That's tough for anyone.

Regardless, I've got propane, fireplace, plenty of books and mags to read, kids to play with, and if I get really bored guns to clean (again). Looks like campin time for me and my family! What a blessing to have the uninturruptes time to spend with one another. No work hassles, no television, no phone calls. Just family time.

And that brings me back to you guys out tere in it, away from your families, cold and miserable. Again, prayers from mine to you and yours. Brake gently, if you brake at all.

I wonder how this effected transportation for our folks?

Prayers for those caught in this mess.
