Need to Find...Video of G19 Fired into Garbage Can..
Anyone else remember this video?
Is it this one?
yes, thank you
u looked waaay nervous.. haha
Someone explain the fascination with this? Is it Dep. USM Sam Gerard's fault?
I know in my city, you can get in some serious trouble for firing within city limits... not sure if it is misdemeanor or felony, never researched it since i never planned on doing it, unless it was a SD situation.
That was cool and i always appreciate it when people go through the effort to do tests for the benefit and discussion of the rest of us.
Wouldn't a fully loaded standard magazine have made the same
point with less noise, not as dramatic I guess.
I have never seen this video, or any other showing a pistol
fired underwater, so it was instructive, but watching this fellow
kinda brings to mind the old Foxworthy line, which is,
What's the last thing a redneck usually hears?,
"Hey Honey, Watch This !!!".
I love that video, it just shows how reliable glock is. And a g19 to boot,
I do appreciate the effort...but he really should have planned a little more to do it in a legal situation. Not that I think it was unsafe, I actually think he took good steps to do it safely - but I really would hate to see someone get jammed up doing something for OUR benefit!
It couldn't have anything to do with him having fun with his gun...no, that couldn't be it...
I found it mildly amusing. It would be nice if he would have done it in a little more legal local, but no blood no foul I guess.
Let's see you do that with an M&P, haha!
so ya think a m&p would do it???
Holy crap. First time seeing this vid. Thanks great.
Will a totally stock 19 do that? he said he had an aluminum firing pin spring or somethig... i didnt catch it
is this training for the rare occasion where you might be putting garbage in the can, it's full of water, and there is an assailant hiding at the bottom (holding his breath,) ready to attack?
Interesting video. Did the Glock have those amphibious firing pin spring caps?
NEVER EVER FILM YOURSELF DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL.
It is just stupid.
Think about how many people have had gotten themselves in trouble for doing stupid stuff on film.
There are different parts in the slide, the cups that hold the stricker spring are different, maybe only to let the striker hit hard enough, but I would not be doing this, and the guy wore no eye protection and imagine if LEOs happened to be going down his alley. Regarding shots in town, a friend has a theory that you can get away with one, I certainly wouldn't know , but my friend says it is true.
