Seeing another thread about raven motivated me to finally make this thread.. I ordered a raven holster about a week ago after hearing rave reviews. At some point during my ongoing 45 day wait, I came across ntac holsters, which appear identical, are significantly cheaper, and have a week turn around time. Does anyone have any experience with these holsters?

So you've waited 45 days or a week? Also, $10 is "significantly cheaper"?

I'll stick with Jay, for a sawbuck. I'm not sure who copied who (have a pretty good idea) but Ravens are proven. Plus, he's a Buckeye. That NTAC stuff is made up north. ;)

After some PM's, I'll stick with raven.

And actually it was $20 cheaper, shipping is free with ntac..

I didn't catch the free shipping. Don't forget our 7.5% for Uncle Ted!

I actually have an order in at Raven, right now.. It sounds like they're over-estimating delivery time, slightly.

I took a few shots today of what I thought were various angles of the holsters.

NTAC is based in michigan, i have meet the owner and have seen his work first hand...both are great. Im not sure who copied who but both designs are pretty similar and the only difference i could see is maybe the thickness or type of kydex they use.

I just purchased an NTAC for my G23 and will see how I like it. This is the first holster I have purchased that isn't a COMP TAC holster so we will see.

Hmmm. I DEFINITELY like the NTAC turnaround time much better than Raven's.

Do they both ride equally as close to the body and is either more comfortable squatting down etc...

I'm glad I found someone who has both. I appreciate your help.
