I was wondering how many of you that have had some experience with the gen 4's have discovered they prefer the gen 3?

And also does anyone know if the gen four recoil springs work in the gen three's that already had the dual spring?

I prefer RTF2 on the Gen3s the normal texture, does not rock my boat as much as the Gen4.

    ^^^ That

RTF2 is my favorite, but if choosing between standard Gen 3 and 4....I'll take the Gen 4.

I like the gen 4's much better. I own two and traded a 3rd I had that I liked, in on an AR. I like the RTF2 texture and the reduced grip circumference is my favorite change!

I like both. My gen 3 23 has decal grip on it. I shoot it very well. But, I also love my Gen 4 17. Twas my first Glock. The raised texture just felt like the perfect balance b/w RTF2s and Gen 3's.

Smaller grip size and rtf brought me to glock. I wouldnt buy a gen 3 based only on the smooth grip which I don't care for.
I really like rtf2 as well but I do not own one.
I think gen 4 is a much bigger success than it is a failure.

I own 4 Gen 4's. I had 3 Gen 3's prior to these I own now. I like the Gen 4's much better. Better grip, magazine release, dot connector and texturing.

I prefer the gen4's. I have shot gen 3's and RTF's and they were fine but gen 4's feel better in my hands.

I have a gen 4 on order so I can't give an opinion on that yet. I, however have several gen 3 models with the G17 RTF2 being my favorite grip over the standard grip.

I prefer the Gen4's as well. Maybe I just got lucky and got two trouble free one's.

I love all my Gen 4's I love the RTF2 frame but they discontinued it. I would never buy another Gen 3 other then a RTF2, Gen 4 all the way

Only have one Gen 4. It is a G26. I also have a Gen 3 G26. The Gen 4 is great, but so is the Gen 3. I have 475 flawless rounds through the Gen 4 and around 2,000 flawless rounds through the Gen 3. I have not yet done a side by side comparison. At this point, I am not sure which I prefer.
