After installing a Glockworx race connector and competition spring set on my G26 gen4, I find that my trigger has an annoying notchy feel and audible click right on the initial press, before there is any movement. After overcoming that snag, the rest of the trigger pull is smooth through the break. If I release the trigger only to the reset point, the next pull does not do this. If I release the trigger all the way, the problem recurs.

Where should I look to diagnose/fix this problem?

Smooth the trigger contact points w/a fine stone or some well used wet dry sandpaper. Go through the nickle coating and get them smooth. The parts are stamped and often quite rough.

Check to see if the trigger safety is not hanging on the frame a bit now, just as you start to pull and you are feeling it rub ( bump ) past the frame.

Update: over lunch today I re-installed the OEM connector and the problem went away. I have a message into GW and will report on the outcome once resolved.

OEM seems to clear up a lot of problems, in a Glock.
