Normal extractor wear?

    Have close to 1k rounds and wasnt sure if this was normal wear on an extractor.

    Looks OK from what I can see/tell. I might even suggest rubbing the extractor top & bottom sides on some auto rubbing compound (LIGHTLY!) to polish it out a bit. Can't hurt and might make it work a bit smoother.

    Looks normal from what I can see,I usually inspect the nose of the extractor and the claw for unusual wear and or chips. SJ 40
