I am about to order everything for my first AR. The BCM bolt carrier says auto on it. Is this one okay for semi? Its the only one I see on bcms website.

Yes. Auto bolt carrier is preferred by most and will work fine.

Standard M16 bolt carrier group is perfectly legal.
