Want to listen to some AC/DC on my 3rd Gen shuffle.

Problem is, Itunes does not carry any AC/DC (or many other Artists for that matter) for me to purchase.

Can I download the songs I want to my PC then transfer them into Itunes so I can load them on my Ipod?

    Thanks in advance.

absolutely, unless you download some proprietary format.

    MP3s are good to go.

As long as it is in the mp3 format it should work...I have never found any that won't play on the iPod.

Also if you don't mind spending money to buy CDs, or already have the CDs, you can use iTunes software to "rip" them onto your computer and then move them to your iPod. Other software will perform the task, but if you already have iTunes, might as well just use that.

Also, tou can use Floola to manage your music instead of the craptastic "apple ware" and store it right on your Ipod instead of loading it on every machine you visit.

I use floola and put mp3s on my Ipod ALL the time. I hate Apple's software and I have enough music of my own (ripped from my CDs) that I don't need to buy their stuff.

    Thanks.

I hate that Apple does not have some Artists music. I have spent money on albums, tapes, CDs, and now finally Itunes to purchase some Artists music.

    No wonder they drive Ferarris.

Rip them to Mp3 to your PC with whatever software you want, then import them to itunes. Remember where your folder is then import it into itunes.

    To import to itunes:
    -Open itunes
    -Click on file
    -Select "add folder to library"
    -Grab the mp3 you ripped
    -AC/DC now on ipod.

Select "For those about to rock (we salute you)" and smile. Life is good.
