Does anyone know of a good anti-virus program that can be run stand-alone? (not installed/portable) I'm looking for something that runs only on manual scans.

The only one I've found is ClamWin.

The Avira Antivir live CD is one of the easiest to use. It runs Linux when booted. It is very effective. The best one might be Dr. Web but I remember it not being as user friendly as the Avira CD.

Dr. Web CureIt! portable is also available. It runs in Windows but doesn't install. It's one of the best.
