Besides, I’ve never been that type...My sister was...My point is, over the past few months there’s been plenty of us on GT who are beating the “No mercy in November” drum.. We’ve been posting that the Leftists from top to bottom are weak as kittens, freaked out, panicking, and basically prime for a November attack at the voting booth...Personally, I feel it’s due mostly to our support, and the ever growing national support for President Trump..doesn’t matter..Today I heard Rush basically announce he feels the same..He even included how weak and panicked the Deep State is... I always feel like we’re on the right track when he confirms what we are posting...Try to go the extra mile in November...Volunteer a couple hours a week, drag someone out of bed on Election Day.. I’ve been stealing the loose change out of my Leftist friends sofa and saving it for a Trump donation..That’s patriotic...Thanks for taking the time to read this...First shot..

You think all those that voted for Hillary last time is not going to vote for whoever the Democrat nominee is? Probably even more votes for the Dummy's, and it will be the electoral college...again, and the ******** will go spastic...again.

Actually, I think some of them are going to vote for Donald Trump, or sit home.

The important thing is that WE don't sit home, and that we get out and vote.

Having said that, Donald Trump is getting a second term....

PLEASE do not forget WHO won the popular vote in 2016! This fact alone should keep you from resting easy. Nothing is won in 2020 until after the votes are counted. My Great-grandfather had a saying,"There has been many a slip between the cup and the lip". Nothing is for certain even if the voting was on the level. The Dems will do anything and everything in 2020 to defeat DJT.

And don't count out the willingness of the DNC to cheat and do whatever it takes to steal the election. Trump will need every vote.

Again, sorry but I mentioned nothing about counting anything in the thread? I agree we need every vote to make November much more than a plain old win..THAT IS THE POINT OF THE POST!!! Winning this election is certainly not in the bag, so let’s lay it on them...Does that help? Thanks..

I truly believe that if our posts here on GT and the general pol conversation nation-wide as a whole, convince more folks to participate in a function that many other folks risk their lives to engage in, it will ALL be for the better...remember; Friends don't let friends sit home on Election day" !!

I'm getting absolutely bombarded right now in Nevada with political ads, and their only message is that the only thing that matters is beating Trump. I get that these are targeted to Democrat primary voters, but the fact that they think this message will resonate more than anything else they can offer up doesn't bode well for them.

The vast majority of regular people are over Trump's "un-presidential" personality, and have been for a while, since the novelty of it wore off. They are personally benefiting, sometimes immensely, from his policies (mainly his policy of throwing monkey-wrenches into the gears of government to the extent it can't as efficiently carry out its daily grind of oppression and suffocation). Getting Trump out of office is simply not a high priority for people.

I've gone from holding my nose and voting for him in 2016, under the impression that it was a futile endeavor in any case since he had zero chance, to being 110% supportive of his re-election in 2020.

I still don't like his personality, but it matters zero to me now. It's very easy to not read his Tweets and to not follow his day-to-day personal feuds.

I won't spend one minute reading about and trying to pick the best candidate for ANY elected position any more. I'll vote for whomever is NOT a Democrat. They are toxic and hazardous to my country and Constitution. Get rid of as many of them as possible.

I'm seeing signs from comments on youtube, that the actual democrat voters are coalescing around Bernie now.

But what really punched me in the gut was my friend at work, who's typically fairly conservative tell me that he's thinking about voting for Bernie too. He just can't get past Trump's "raw" personality. I said "Think about it, they threw the Russia collusion nonsense at him for 3 years and it didn't stick, so they impeached him over a nonsense phone call and that didn't stick either" and he quickly replied "YEAH it didn't stick but then Trump BRAGGED ABOUT IT!" I was so shocked from that reaction I was like "Yes he did. He's not humble but you completely missed the point."

But then when he said "I see people struggling and it makes me think I should be paying more in taxes..." that's when I knew he was really lost.

Democrats do an amazing job at pandering to people with tender hearts.

Okay, this is going to hurt some feelings but let's face it...Trump is rude, crude and an egotistical, flaming a-hole.

But, he's done a good job as president and I'm voting for him this time (voted independent* last time) and supporting him anyway I can.

*It occurs to me now that there isn't anyone more independent than Trump. He marches to his own drum.
