At least I didn't see/hear any....And as far as the score goes it's a nice surprise. My son and grandson are huge Pat's fans so I can't really bash them but it's be nice to see the Falcons get it done.

Posted in another thread. This is a NFL public relations apology. They messed up last years halftime show and the Kapernick situation.

They're emphasizing America the Beautiful. Pandering.

Oh please, I doubt they give a damn. I think we need to start remembering something; just about half of America... HATES America...

You don't quite get it. It was all about the hype for the #1 warched TV event of the year, max viewership. It was not an apology

I thought the half time show was respectful. I liked the beginning, I liked it when she said hi to Mom and Dad. You can like or dislike her music, but that was pretty damned entertaining.

Just before the 'show' did I see a spot about a woman and young girl coming across the line and entering the country ?

    Coulda swore....

Ga Ga did what she was meant to do, entertain .

We can agree to disagree. NFL ratings are down this year. Overwhelming feedback from the Black Panther halftime show and handling of the Kapernick situation was negative.

They want to bring fans back so they reverse course and throw a patriotic half time show. As if the NFL is saying "Sorry America. We screwed up." That is an apology.

I didn't like it, but only on a artistic level. The Johnny Cash song/ presentation before the game was much better

My thoughts exactly. I'm starting to like the GaGa. She has a helluva voice and can entertain with the best of them. I thought this year's show was a huge improvement over last year's show.

The Coke multi-cultural crap commercial made me want to gag-gag.

But I'm glad that GaGa decided to behave and not turning the super bowl into her personal bully pulpit.

The commercials are preachy and tedious this year. I don't need people trying to sell me watered down crap beer and then tell me transnationalism is good for me. GaGa kept her bigoted, racist pie hole shut, so there is a learning curve for these liberal fools. And the Falcons are bearing the snot out of the cheaters.
    Weird...

Pleasantly surprised at the halftime show not going political. Falcons leading is icing on the cake if they can hold on.

Atlanta Falcons are playing. The NE Patriots didn't show up.

The Patriot players have already given up. At the end of a run a few plays ago, the Patriots player didn't even bother to get out of bounds and stop the clock. They just want it to be over.

Remind me, what was the screw up last year? I don't watch much football and my memories not the greatest.
