Can we all just be honest here and admit she's hot?

I don't know anything else, but I know that.

If she was a Fox news guest contributor many people here would be lining up to sniff her poop and claim it was roses.

Harry's a pretty stand up guy from all accounts. Yeah we all make choices we regret, not sure he has done that actually.

Leaving a weird fish bowl life in search of something normal is OK in my book.

    Good luck to them.

I still think he looks like his mother’s equestrian instructor.

I find so stupid that there’s still monarchies sucking the people’s blood all over the world.

I read somewhere, sometime ago, that supposedly the English Royalty is not "costing" the English taxpayer as much as people might think. Something like they are almost "cost effective". They are literally so wealthy that they basically pay their own way.

I might go look this up. Now you've done it, now I'm interested in "The Royals"! lol

From Vanity Fair (great, indepth reporting I'm sure....):

"The royal family cost each British taxpayer 69 pence last year (up 4 pence compared to last year), with courtiers insisting the royal family is “excellent value for money.” The royal family’s independent commercial property arm, the Crown Estate, also returned £329.4 million to the public Treasury in the last year, a £12.7 million increase from the year before."

More at the link, but the numbers are kind of all over the place and they don't give "totals". Part of the issue is that places like Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle are national landmarks, so even if the Royal Family didn't stay there the operating costs would still be what they are.

The taxes that the Queen alone pays on her personal wealth is far greater than the monies they receive in salaries and benefits.

Of course that accounts for much of the hatred of the Royal Family here in the U.S.

A very large percentage of Americans truly HATE anyone wealthy.

Many officers that I worked with would look the other way at a violater in a Toyota, but crucify an offender for the exact same offence if he was driving a Cadillac.

I always thought he was the screwup, but I did some reading and he was apparently a damn good pilot and volunteered for combat duty. He even fought with Gurkhas against the Taliban, and IIRC that is a pretty high honor. Supposedly leading Gurkhas is the highest honor a British officer can (or could) receive. I don't think he was leading them though.

I think his wife wears the pants in their family and is also taking him for a ride. I think it was over for him the day she spread her legs.

There is an old, wise saying.......

    P***y is undefeated.

Here's the thing - I don't know much about this but I do seem to remember that Markle and her dad don't talk. So how would her dad know any more about this than any other jackass on the street?

Yes, from what I understand he got further into / near combat than his older brother... but... his older brother was carefully protected since he is "in line for the throne". I believe the older brother flew rescue helicopters? since that was the closest they would let him get to the shooting?

The older brother does still fly rescue missions I think, but there was pressure to protect them both. What I read (Wikipedia) made a point of mentioning that Harry pushed to be allowed to serve with his unit, and threatened to quit the service otherwise. Said he didn't "drag his sorry ass" through all of the training to not be able to serve with his unit.

From what I gather Harry was in the fighting more than his brother but both served honorably.
