the fine residents of san francisco voted yesterday to ban handgun possession within the city. all handguns must be "surrendered" to the local cops. in addition, the proposition also bans the sale and purchase of any firearm and ammunition in the city as well.
This scenario may happen if our present government system is coverted to a federal one. Imagine having many laws governing the possession of handguns. An example would be it may be legal to carry in Region 3 but illegal to carry in NCR. The problem is the local politicians would be more powerful in their respective states.
Why cant government see the logic of legaly arming its citizen deters crime? I may be wrong, so do any of you guys have stats to prove that indeed crime rate is higher now than before (that PTC was "reasonably priced!). thats the problem, only BG in the streets of the metro are going around freely, armed! And ready to do there thing! So...thank you GMA! Thank you Ping!
it maybe sir VK. but in our region(7-central visayas), vigilantes(head hunters or whatever?) really help alot to lower stats of the crime being committed compared to the last years stats, with or without PTC. if the police force can't protect us civilian individuals, then maybe those vigilant individuals of different origins with one purpose can. just my honest opinion though. i might sound encouraging others to do so, but i am honestly not. (promise ;e )
Illegal to legally own handguns. But not illegal to illegally own them. HAH!. Very nice logic. I dont know where these anti-gun pricks get their logic.
Di pa final yang Prop na yan, the Wednesday after the polls, nag file kaagad ang NRA ng lawsuit to challenge the measure. Here's an article
