He needs to be sued out of office for bias and discrimination then.

So that means car insurance encourages bad driving? Should be interesting to watch what happens.

Or be made to reveal what his regime feels is “improper use”. Seems self defense is exactly the proper use if said tool. If the NRA doesn’t jump all over this I’ll be even more disappointed with them.

The presence of smoke detectors and fire extinguishers promotes arson?

Wow, yet another way to squash the Second Amendment.

"I'm sorry, I understand that you feel you had to shoot that intruder to save your family, but we've decided to bankrupt your family since we don't agree." Ridiculous.

I hope New Jersey residents have recourse against this unlawful ban of insurance. For those idiots that don't know, you don't go in and shoot up a shopping mall and then use your insurance to cover you. It doesn't work that way.

I just want to know WHEN, do laws like this and the Red Flag laws begin showing up in the SCOTUS? -And how much damage will be done by the time they get over-ruled?

I thought one of the Dem talking points on gun control was forcing us to get insurance?

It is. On the federal level you mandate insurance. On the state level you ban insurance. Then you play the game of who has enough $$ and will power to fight it to SCOTUS.

No, but smart phones seem to, so maybe he should ban the sale of car insurance to anyone who has a smart phone.:dunno:

With each passing day, I see more proof that liberals are hopeless idiots!

IIRC from Insurance 101, a "social cost" of insurance was that it encouraged careless behavior in some people, as they had less to lose. I suspect that people who do not have collision coverage may be inclined to be more careful.

Well, I suppose NJ will have to ban auto liabiliry insurance, premises liability insurance, liquor liability insurance and general commercial liability insurance. You know, so as not to encourage illegal or irresponsible behavior.

Maybe he should prohibit gun owners from retaining legal counsel. Wouldn't having access to a lawyer in a civil or criminal proceeding promote undesireable behavior?

Well, yes it was a Dem. talking point. But the Governor just blew it out of the water. Kinda like Beto, he's letting everyone know what the Left's gun control agenda is really all about. No guns for you! And no self defense.

I expect CA, MA, NJ or NY to pass a law in the next two or three years banning the use of "lethal force" in self defense.

This will be challenged in court and he will lose. But he will have scored points with his idiot base, so his re-election is more certain now.
