I have done a search and cant find the answer I'm looking for. Maybe you guys can help. I'm gonna buy a set of night sites and my LE dealer will put them on for free. I have been looking and will probably get trijicon or mepralites. However, I see 6.5 or 6.9 when looking at the sites. what is the difference? What is the closest thing to stock size? These are going on a G23 and I might get a set for my G27.

    Thanks for the help.

6.5 is the same as the stock sight.

Go with meprolights. They are perfect and they come with a 12 year warranty!

I would also go with the Meprolights, I find them to be brighter and easier to see in the daytime.

I have Meprolight's on my G19 and like them so I think I'll go with Meprolight's again.

I put Trijicons on any of my pistols that can take them (No luck with the front post of the Berretta 92F for instance). They come with yellow rear and a green front post which makes for great contrast in low light. Also, they decay at the same rate.

I like the Glock night sights. They seem to fit the best. From the installers view point, anyway. The front Trijicons, for whatever reason, fit very sloppy in the oval hole on the slide. After tightening the front sight, you have to square up the sight. With the factory Glocks, not so much. They fit "Perfectly".
