It's safe to order online but it will be dangerous to have them shipped here. ;f

My experience has been that once I installed the aftermarket sights on my Glocks, I never had any use for the original plastic sight. Many Glock owners in fact complain that the plastic front sight is one of the parts that first gets busted, so they immediately swap this out with a sturdier aftermarket sight even before it breaks.

If the sights you bought are attached with a hexagonal screw at the base, it's easy to install them by yourself. Just get a set of hex head (is that the right term) mini-screwdrivers and some loctite, and you're good to go.

But if you really want to preserve the original sights, maybe a pair of needle-nosed pliers and some finesse will suffice to get it out in one piece. Otherwise, a brass punch is what I usually use.

Actually, you can save yourself the $5 and get yourself a set of hex head screwdrivers from most Handyman or D-I-Y hardware stores in the malls. I've attached a pic of the set that I got, and also of the screw that attaches my XS 24/7 front sight.

If you're referring to the original plastic Glock front sight, just punch it out with a brass punch or even a barbeque stick. When you install your aftermarket sight, you won't even miss the original sight :)
