night sight fitment?

I have a chance to buy a new set of Trijicon GL12. The package says they only fit a g36. I want to put them on a G30 whats the differance in the sights?

When they say "fits" they really mean "intended for use with".
Trijicon says G36 only. Unfortunately I do not know why? Could be a thinner front sight screw or maybe a special rear sight height?
If it bugs you that much call them for the inside scoop.
