We have a pigeon problem where I live. This is private property, and they are spreading disease and making a rather nasty mess out of any outbuilding on the property. Normally it's a shotgun solution, but today I didn't have anyone for backup (or to take the first shot to scare them up and out), so I went privateer on this vermin.

Roughly 100 yards, my bedroom window. Was it a skill shot? No, but it was fun and I giggled!

These ones are fairly disease ridden, not good for eating.

    Nice.

I've been dealing with squirrels lately but done my share of removing pigeon filth from my property before.

Hi, I'm Miss Kitty! I don't think you should shoot the pigeons. They are Gods creatures! :steamed::steamed:

Just kidding for Pete's' sake. Please don't give me another infraction. :wavey:

Mike Tyson is a big pigeon guy. But Homie pigeons are different I think.

Good to hear the pigeon was not destined for a meal. I tend to think of them somewhat as rats with wings. And not as smart as rats.

If you missed that shot where would the bullet land?

When they say homing pigeons they mean it.

A previous owner of a house kept pigeons and they kept coming back.

The neighbors called the health department so I screened off their roosting spot but they would hang sideways on the outside of the screen.

It did not occur to the stubborn birds to find another spot.
