I'm lucky enough to have a decent job and be a full time college student, so a couple times a year I'll look for a new boom-stick.

I've been scraping up for a while, and for me it looks like the next investment will be an AR-15.

So what's next on your list of goodies to buy? Anything interesting on the old Christmas list?

I am paying for a Remington M700VS in .308 with a 3.5-10x40 Leupold M4 Tactical scope. I should have it out around March.

Either a Colt 1917 .45ACP revolver, or the one in the pic below if I can find one. Those are the two highest on my list. Oh and there's a custom made Ruger Vaquero sherrif's model that's been at the last 3 or 4 gun shows around here. And I still don't own a GLOCK yet. Also maybe another SKS (the short barreled paratrooper model.) and a Mauser 98. I'd also like to have a good longslide 1911 in .45 ACP(but that one's a long way off.). Oh, and a .45 caliber Walther P38 if I can ever find another one.

    Not sure.

Ever since I got my first handgun, I've been aching for more. But I have always wanted to get a nice AR.

I have a few, no particular order

Marlin 1895 45-70 Not sure if I want guide or standard model... Maybe a stainless guide gun?

    Thinking Remington Model 7, blued w/ wood, open sights and .308.... + a 4x or 2-7 scope
    OR
Maybe a CZ550 international .308 with the same sort of optics

Would like a double barrel SxS 12 gauge w/ hammers

    FAR OFF
    M1A
    AK47
AR15, full length GI style, w/ a Raise xtra 30 stock, redimag, and a masterkey 870 under the forearm!

Handguns as soon as I turn 21...
    G23
G20, both 2nd gen models as I don't care for the accessory rails

Kel Tec P3AT or NAA Guardian .380

A full size 1911 Government model of some sort. Old school style with no forward serrations and the sharp edges and real fine serrations in the back. Bright polished blue, and a commander hammer. Other then that, as long as it's reliable and reasonably accurate, I'm plenty happy!

I dunno, but I've got five new guns waiting for me at home that I haven't gotten a chance to shoot yet: G20, Clark 10/22, takedown 10/22, Ti Tracker in .357 and Kahr P9 Covert.

Edited to add that I do know what my next guns will be: a custom Colt SAA, engraved and inlaid, with custom grips and finish, and an engraved and inlaid Colt XSE. Class pistols for USMA 2005.

Thank God for free education ;)

Lots of sweet choices so far.

It doesn't matter what kind of funds you have, you can find affordable quality in a lot of places. I try to go for quality over quantity, but I've fired some really cheap guns that were a lot of fun- so I can't ever knock anyone for wanting something I consider a POS... I've been surprised a few times.

Let's bump this up a notch-

You've just won $1000 in a local gun shop contest- you can put it towards the purchase of any firearm (legal, non Class III) that you wish. What now?

I'd go with a Para-Ord 14.45 LDA... I don't know why, I've never even shot one- but for some reason after they won "Gun of the Year" from Guns&Ammo a couple years back- I've just really wanted one.

Ah, who am I kidding? I'd get a Glock 21 and use the leftovers as a start on a kickass M4A3 with all the goodies.

    Next...

Oh, and after I got my AL CCP, I would then get a PT3A for pocket carry just because they are plain cool and small. Plus it would go nicely with my G29 for concealed carry.

Oh, and add to my list a G19 and a G26 and an AR10.
