I seem to keep going around in circles on which glock model I should buy next. I have going back in forth between the gen4 21, 22, and 23. I have a gen3 g27 right now. I've held all of them and still can't make up my mind. I'm thinking this next gun would mainly be a house/range gun. Awhile back I was set on the 22 but then when I started thinking the 23 would be good for that too and I could carry it during the colder months. Then I starting thinking that it's not really cold that much here in Florida and I have a 23 mag with a spacer on it which it pretty much like a 23 and went back to the 22. Then I saw a gen4 21 I and liked the way it felt in my hands. :dunno:
What do you guys think???

Well if you dont mind adding a new caliber to your collection then I would get the G21 but if you are like some guys and dont like to have differnt caliber ammo laying around then get the G22. And if you get the G22 you can use the G22 mags in your G27..

First, decide which generation you want. If you want gen four, go for it. Next, if you already have the smaller gun, and you are looking for a house/range gun, you may want a bit larger frame than your Glock 27. You should also know that if you buy a Glock 23 (.40) you can just buy a .357 sig barrel for it and shoot it out of your Glock 23. Also, you can buy (on line at Glockmiester or gunbroker) a Glock 19 slide and magazine and shoot the more inexpensive .9mm round from the Glock 23 (you MAY need to change the ejector - some work without the change). Finally, If you get the Glock 23, you can always buy a "longer" slide from lone wolf and turn it into a Glock 22, or (like I did) "just" buy an extended barrel (no slide) for the Glock 23, use a Glock 22 magazine with an A&G magazine spacer and now, you are shooting a Glock 22. So, based on the MANY options you can do to the Glock 23, that is my recommendation. Also, if you buy the larger frame (Glock 22/31) you can't go down in size unless you get the fairly expensive grip reduction and why would you do that when you could just buy the Glock23 in the first place? That said, any Glock is a good Glock. Do you have other people in the house that will be shooting the new gun? If you have kids or the wife, I think you might want to ("if I really HAVE to go to a gun store dear") bring her to a gun store to check/handle the different frame sizes to see which one feels comfortable for her/them. Good luck, keep us posted!
