Has anyone ordered a Glock recently with Glock night sights? I was wondering if they improved the quality of the vial housings, especially the front sight that could come loose in the older models.

I saw a homeland defender just the other day, looked like either Mepros or Trijs. Did check to see how they staked it, but any front sight that's staked can eventually come loose.

Look at it this way, if it says "Glock" on it, then Glock will honor their warranty.

Just my opinion here, but I think night sights need to be replaced every five years any way. I know they are garranteed for twelve. But I think they get too dim after five.

GLOCK brand night sights are actually warrantied for 15 years.

I have had GLOCK install them personally on mg G22 and G27, my duty weapons.

I have not shot the G27 yet, but I do carry it daily.
The G22 I shoot the heck out of, and carry it daily.

    Both are fine so far.

GLOCK will stand up for them I am sure.

If not, they only cost $57 bucks for the whole set, so big deal.

I have had the Glock night sights on my G27 for a few months and have no problems at all. I have shot a few hundred rounds through it and reholstered it many many times and still no probs.

How did you go about getting Glock to install night sights for you?
