I've been using glocktalk for the past 3months, never knowing that there's a forum for pinoy glock owners here hehe Just got my bnew g19 last month. First "legit" handgun ko. 4 questions:

    Safe ba reloads sa glock?
What's the best/reasonable CCW holster available sa Pinas?
    Saan range/gunclub ok membership?
    Where do guys hangout/shoot?

    Thanks

    Welcome to BoGs!!!

    1. No lead reloads. Use FMJ relods.
    2. I had mine made by "Uncle Tony".
    3. PB Dionisio, Armscor, Jethro, etc. Look for one which is close to your place.
    4. Usually, we shoot during weekends wherever there is a competition. Or if there's none, we practice at Armscor, Marikina if the Top Dawg calls for it. ;f

If you're asking how much I got the g19, it cost me P34k for the unit pero I paid P32k lang coz full payment agad then additional P4,700 for the licence. I saved a lot by buying at Casa Armas/Twin Pines in MCS. Other gunstores charge P38K-P40k unit price pa lang. It comes with the case, 2 15rnd mags, manual, sight adjustment tool( Adjustable rear sights kasi), cleaning rod, and loading tool.

The IWB holster I bought at Final Option.

    1. safe ba reloads sa glock? ... Use only fmj reloads, 3 reloading times ko lang ginagamit shell casings
    2. reasonable ccw holster? ... fobus
    3. range ok ang membership ... Armscor marikina. membership fee is around 2000 pesos, renewal annual feel of 1,500. please kindly verify with armscor. mabait yung medyo chubby na cashier nila dun. the range officers there are kind and willing to help/give advices, tips. ok din ang recovery rate dun ng mga used up shells. the pulot boys are helpful and friendly.
    4. where do i shoot? most of the time sa armscor marikina. ok don. you can even bring yung mga nakatago mong "mahahaba" and use it sa range intended for rifles, except, you have to make paalam muna sa president ng armscor. accomodating naman si sir.

Depends on where you get your copper coated heads.

9MX swears by his copper coated heads and says they shoot like FMJ's.

I've tried Stronghand's and Jethro's and they leaded my Glock 17 barrel more than lead bullets. Armscor's copper coated heads are a little better but they still leave much to be desired.

Subsequently changed by barrel to an aftermarket one and shoot lead exclusively in it without any hitch. However, I use teflon heads for competition.
