It all started when I was about 4. A warm sunny day - summertime in Western PA. Dad helps me aim an 870 Express at a milk jug about 10 yards away. Once I'm on target, he lets go and I have the weight of the gun in my hands, firmly set back into the cup of my shoulder as instructed. I pull the trigger and next thing I know I'm on my back looking up at the sky, crying beside the 870. I was hooked.

I have had several hunting rifles, shotguns, and a revolver in the last 22 years since that encounter. Now I have a Glock. Bought new a few weeks ago - 4th gen model 22. Have about 500 rounds thru it so far and loved every one. I'm enjoying getting better with the gun and looking forward to continuing with many more thousands of rounds. I'm married, living in South Central Ohio, and enjoy kayaking, camping, hunting, and just about anything outside. I have been homebrewing for the past 4 years. The wife enjoys shooting the gun with me which is always a plus. Father in law has a 500 Smith so she is from good stock.

Looks like this is the place for info. There is so much already out there; it's been some good reading. I haven't seen much 4th gen info out there, but it is pretty new I gather. I noticed the Jentra Plug I bought does not fit my gun due to the new interchangeable grip... Any info on the 4th gen would be appreciated.

    Cheers and safe shooting all

Welcome to GT. There is no reason to limit your inquiries to Gen4 Glocks. The changes are pretty superficial. The important things are still the same. Learn how to shot it well. Get some extra mags and a big ammo stash. Carry it with responsibility and respect. Practice a lot and enjoy.

Welcome. There are quite a few of us here from Ohio. I love the southern part of the state. Wish I could get down there more.

Thanks for the kind welcome everybody. Glad to see some Ohioans on here. Anybody ever been to Big Darby Creek Range? Looks pretty nice - $8/hour as compared to $30/hour where I went last week. And this place is 100 acres w/ rifle ranges.
