    Hello,

I am a newbie, and I plan on shooting at Lexington. I'm not going to register till I get there. I'm also not sure if it will be Sat or Sun, depending on if I have to work Sat. My question(s) is what should I expect as far as waits if I get there by 8:00 either day, and what should I bring besides shooting gear--chair,water etc?

If you get there at 8am , you will wait an hour to register. I would recommend showing up between 8:30am and 9am.You will save a little cash if you pre register!
    I take to the match,
    water,
    food snacks,
    hand towel,
    cash!

You forgot to say you take some fast times (low scores) too.

It's better to pre- register, so if you do send it in by the 21st or 22nd. I haven't been to the Lexington match, but from the ones I've been to, I'd say some thing to snack on, water, maybe some small folding chair, and definitely some cash.

Water and snacks are a good idea, the only thing at the range is burgers and drinks at the club house!
And it is a long walk from there to the stage set-ups!you have to drive from the club house(registration area)to where the match is accually set-up!
Also I would bring a camara, the scenary at the bluegrass sportsmans league range is beautiful! You will be very impressed with their range set-up! It is a worthwhile trip ,I love going to lexington match every year!
