Please read the Hornady disclaimer:
WARNING: THIS IS LIVE AMMUNITION. THIS IS NOT A TOY

Children who think zombies are real might mistake this ammo as toy ammo.

Hornady will soon pull that crap from the market just for that very reason.
It's not a very well thought out marketing idea.

This marketing "idea" will get some bad press here pretty soon.

What is the deal with all this zombie crap? Please, someone fill me in.
Some say it's a code word for minorities, anti-gunners, liberals or anyone else
you dislike and think they should be shot.

Read the Hornady disclaimer, it mentions this theory and denies it.

Others say it's the new "tacticool" fad and a replacement for all the SHTF
and bug out bag nonsense we've had to suffer through for the past several
years.

Either way, it makes gun owners look stupid and childish!:steamed:

Hornady realized that lots of people stock up on ammo and weapons like crazy, to prepare themselves off some event that probably will never happen.
Now they designed the ammo boxes a little more attractive to target certain people "Preppers" It's just a very smart marketing idea. IMO, there is nothing wrong with it!

I worked one of the shotgun stages at a nationally advertised Zombie match a few years ago. My partner and I strictly enforced safety rules. We were more concerned than usual because some of the competitors presented in pretty unusual fashion and did not appear to be the kind of experienced shooters typically found at three gun matches. One guy shot the entire match with two large Samurai swords crossed in sheaths on his back. I was on high alert and not for Zombies.

I want a stack of these for when it does get pulled from the shelves and starts selling for $100+ a box. I'll get a nice 1911 for cheap and save a box or two to sit next to the 1911 just in case.

Well I'm 58 years old and have owned firearms since I was 15.

I consider this ammo an insult to the intelligence of every gun owner in this country.

Wait until the anti-gun crowd gets a whiff of this childish product.

Think about how they'll portray gun owners as believing in zombies and wishing
to go on wild killing sprees shooting everyone in sight.

You may not care what they think,
but they're slowing turning the non firearms people against us.

This foolish product doesn't not help our cause one bit.

I always thought that preparing for the zombie apocalypse was moreso an idea of advanced preparation. Not literally for zombies, but being prepared for anarchy, WROL, societal collapse, etc.

The only reason people use the zombie analogy is because zombies would be the absolute worst scenario that would happen, but it's about being prepared

I am in complete agreement with this gentleman.
