Well, any interesting New Years Eve / Day calls?
I am out right now on medical getting my knees replaced, so I am just listening to the radio. On New Year's Eve, with temps around 9 - 11 degrees (F), my department had two car accidents, one of which was a rollover. Which usually means a long time "standing by" at the scene after the patients are taken care of. I have yet to talk to anyone about the accidents, but I was feeling bad for them... in my warm house (with an aching knee).
Fortunately the last two nights, with temps basically in the negatives, we've had no calls.
I'm not going to be able to respond for a couple more months until my knees get back into working shape (I"m one of the "old timers", who is a support guy).
